Wish List Wednesday

Easy Circle Cutter

This weeks wish list Wednesday is something to help conquer one my my fears: circles.

Basically anything that doesn't involve strait lines scares me. I did make circles for my table topper and they turned out pretty good all things considered. If you remember however I have type A tendencies and I noticed some things that weren't just so.

I think this little tool though would help immensely. I wonder if anyone has used it? Does it make circular life as easy as it claims? I read some of the directions when I was at Joann's the other day and it sounds user friendly. I wonder if it actually is?

  2. I can not say that I have used this. I can say that I too fear circles, not because I'm a perfectionist, but because I believe they play a key role in the coming zombie apocalypse. Just take a look at polka dots....scattered about like so many eyes....watching...waiting....

  4. I have one of these. Let me say it is good and it is bad. Bad in the fact that I found it hard to get anything like a marker in the crevices to actually mark the circle. Got so frustrated that I actually broke the ruler for the size circle I needed and voila! that was perfect.

    Maybe I just didn't know the proper way to mark the circle but I think it would be better to have a ruler for each size circle.

    And using a rotary cutter inside each space was impossible because you keep hitting your cutter against the sides of the ruler.

    Didn't mean to discourage you but I had a rough time with it and havn't used it since.

  5. Sewn with grace- thanks for stopping by

    stars and mama-you're both crazy, but I love you anyways

    Nana-Thank you, I love an honest encounter of things. If you have a problem, I'll probably have a problem. things that are usually user friendly for most people hate me and totally in my head I was just going to put a rotary cutter in there. some of the pictures I found actually had a small rotary cutter with it,maybe that has something to do with it?

  7. i have it & i love it!

    the key is using the right rotary cutter from the same company... it has a small blade and the guide retracts further than on most rotary cutters. if you have any questions i have used it many times on an assortment of projects.

    {i also have the set in my shop if you are interested}
